Our historic estate was originally built as a county school, and today it is a stunning venue that’s perfect for weddings and special events.

The Banyan Estate boasts an incredible sense of history and character that you won’t find anywhere else. From the towering oak trees to the lush gardens, there is beauty and charm around every corner. Built in 1927, The Banyan Estate, also known as the Malabar Schoolhouse, was the original school in Brevard County. Only open a few years as a school, it went on to become a dance club in the 1940’s and later a wood workshop from the 70’s through 2014 when a complete renovation project was embarked upon. It was renovated again in 2023. This historic landmark has been lovingly restored, bringing back the original beauty including soaring ceilings, glistening hardwood floors and oversized windows letting in natural light.

We are the ONLY historic venue in Brevard that can host up to 160 guests in air conditioned/heated indoor space. Choose from our indoor and outdoor spaces for your special event. Elegance abounds at The Banyan Estate.
